Markfield Village Walk

Join us for a glimpse into village life and buildings in times past.

Tuesday 16 July 2024, 7.15pm

Meet on lower part of The Green opposite the Methodist Church, Main Street, Markfield LE67 9WD.

Led by: Markfield Local History Group

We will take you on a tour of the old village, including the central streets around The Green and parts of Main Street. Providing a glimpse into village life in times past, we will pick out notable older buildings together with newer changes and developments, whilst recounting interesting stories and anecdotes. Please wear suitable footwear.

The guided walk is FREE, however, donations are welcome.

Meet at 7.15pm on the lower part of The Green LE67 9WD, which is opposite the Methodist Church, Main Street, Markfield.

Car parking is available around The Green, please be considerate to residents.

The Arriva 29 bus service Leicester/Coalville/Swadlincote stops at The Green. The 29A stops near the top of Main Street.
